"I had some scrap metal laying around and decided to make something out of it."
Tell us a little about yourself.
I’m retired mechanic and a car enthusiast and spend a lot of time tinkering in my garage. I had some scrap metal laying around (horseshoes, hammers, spark plugs, etc.) and decided to make something out of it. As a former mechanic, I enjoy working with my hands.
What are you working on now? What has changed since the pandemic?
I just finished “Mr. Plug and his son Little Plug.” I’m waiting for my next brainstorm . Since the pandemic, I’m spending a lot more time in my garage!
In your opinion, how can being creative help us confront our “new” reality?
Being creative gives me something to do that I enjoy and occupies my time in a positive way.
