Stitching Witch

"Now is a time to shake off the old 'normal' and start to imagine what the present and our futures can look like."

What are you currently working on?

Currently I have a piece that I think will be my COVID piece, and I'm staring at a ripped white dress that's going to have Otis Redding "Tenderness" lyrics on it.

Has your art making shifted in response to the pandemic? How?

Yes, it's more question and mindfulness based.

What is the role that art can play in helping us confront our new reality?

Now is a time to shake off the old "normal" and start to imagine what the present and our futures can look like. Creating art is a sacred practice and what comes of it is an offering to our communities and the world.
